Over the last couple of months I have researched different lottery software programs in the market. There is a large variety available and of course they all claim to help you predict the winning lotto numbers. If you read their sales page they often go into a lot of detail in explaining “how” their lottery system helps you win the lottery. Some allow you to input previous lotto drawing numbers and can then formulate winning number combinations for future drawings… or so they claim.

Still other lotto programs are designed to eliminate unlikely number combinations based on the statistical odds. These are actually based on sound mathmatical advise. Unlike the first group which bases their predictions on past winning numbers (which honestly has no bearing whatsoever of future drawings), these elimination method programs factor out the odds of having large groups of consecutive numbers and/or large groups of numbers that are either high, medium or low numbers. While this is still not an accurate way to pick your numbers it is superior to the first group from a statistical stand-point.

Don’t write off the idea of winning the lottery because the programs above are not going to truly help you win. There is yet another less known-about lottery software program that utilizes the lotto pool concept. To understand the significance of this you must understand that 60-65% or more of all the jackpot winners that come forth to claim their prize are GROUPS of people…. office-pools, neighborhood lotto groups and things like that.

It is not that these lottery groups had a better number selection process… they simply had more number combinations at play. The odds were in their favor in that respect.

So, in a contest between traditional lottery software compared to a lotto pool… the lotto pool will always win!!

But, the problem with traditional lottery pools is creating, maintaining and distribution of winnings. The larger the lotto pool grows the better the chances of winning are BUT each winning share decreases as a result. Now, you may not want to share a large jackpot with 50, 100 or more people and I don’t blame you.

The biggest problem with lottery software is that it just doesn’t work. I know this might seem like a surprise since there are so many lottery software programs on the market, but it’s true. Think about it a second and it will start to make sense. How can software improve your chances of picking the right number, when it’s randomly generated? The number that you are picking can be a few digits long and each of those digits is randomly selected. And they are drawn from a large pool of numbers as well. Picking the right numbers, in order, is impossible to predict. It’s not a matter of using a computer to do some fancy number crunching, it simply can’t be done.

If you look carefully at the advertisements for these systems, they always point to the winners. There are testimonials on their pages that thank the lottery software developers for building such a wonderful product, and usually go on to tell you how much they have won with the system. Be suspicious of these claims and keep your money in your pocket. First, you have no way of really knowing if any of the claims are legitimate, and even if you thought they were, there’s no way of verifying them. Also, you don’t know how long or how often the winners were playing to win the prizes they refer to on the site. Another thing to consider is why are there only a few winners posted? Take a second and think about all of the people that played the lottery using this lottery software and didn’t win. They far outnumber the winners, you can be sure of that.

The truth is that these lottery software programs are nothing more than sophisticated random number generators. You can get the same results from putting numbers in a hat and drawing them yourself. There is no difference to the numbers the lottery software picks over the ones you draw from the hat. The reason for this is that there is no statistical way to predict what numbers will come up in a particular drawing because they are totally random.

The only way to improve your odds for a given lottery is to increase the number of chances you have at the winning number. You can do this by buying a lot of tickets, but this can get expensive. The number of tickets you would need to buy to have any statistical improvement in your odds could be hundreds and you could still lose every time. The only other alternative would be to join a lottery pool. A lottery pool increases your chances of winning by joining you with others who buy tickets and sharing in the winnings. This means the outlay from each player is small and the payoff could be huge if the pool grows large enough. There are newer online versions of these lottery pools that will enable these groups to grow very large and provide a much better chance of winning than if you played alone. And if you join one of these pools, you also have the chance of receiving income from the people downstream in your lottery pool as well. Stop wasting time with the useless lottery software and join one of these lottery pools today.
